TDC Terms and Conditions of Room Booking and use -- November 2008
The fine print
The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings for the use of the Technology Dispute Centre Pty Limited (TDC):
(a) Booking and confirmation
- Bookings of rooms and facilities require a completed booking form and a deposit of 20%.
- You must supply full details of your requirements to the TDC at least 2 days prior to commencement of use.
- You may cancel any booking with not less than 7 days' notice. Cancellations on less notice will be charged the greater of one day's hiring fee or 25% of the fee for the period booked.
(b) Payment
- Payment of all charges is due 7 days before the day of the commencement of the use of the facilities.
- Any additional services charges will be invoiced as incurred and are payable upon invoice.
- The TDC may require an additional deposit for catering.
(c) Use of the facilities
- If you wish to have equipment or documents delivered to the TDC prior to the commencement of the use of the facilities, you must make prior arrangment with the TDC. Unless otherwise agreed, the TDC and BarNet will take no responsibility for the custody and care of those materials.
- You must vacate the booked space at the agreed time. Any items that have not been collected within 7 days of the use of the facilities may be disposed of by the TDC.
- * A day means a period of 8 hours.
- ** A half-day means a period of 4 hours which must end or commence at 1.00 pm.
- You must take reasonable care of the facilities during your use. If it is necessary to clean or otherwise repair or remediate the facilities as a result of anything arising from your use, this will be charged to you together with any administration charges.
- If you require keys to secure any or all of the meeting rooms, failure to return those keys at the conclusion of your use of the facilities will result in a charge for the replacement of the keys, including an administration charge.
